Talkatone gives you free calls, text messages, real-time location sharing and picture sharing to Facebook and Google friends, or any phone number in US/Canada. Calls are made via 3G or WiFi connection, so it doesn't use your cellular minutes. Talkatone uses http://alternativeto.net/software/google-voice/ to call regular phone numbers, and Google Talk for Talkatone-to-Talkatone or Talkatone-to-Mac/PC calls.
